This book presents solo guitar settings of 13 Celtic and traditional compositions. In addition to well-known Celtic tunes, the author offers a couple of original solos plus arrangements of tunes by the famed Irish harper- Turlough O'Carolan. The Book/CD edition of Celtic Fingerstyle Guitar is written in standard notation and tablature and intended for the intermediate to advanced guitarist. All of these arrangements were created with the guitar in an alternate tunings including: CGCGCD, CGDGCD (Orkney), DAAEAB, CFCGCD, and DGDGCD. The enclosed CD recording contains all of the tunes in the book and should provide a welcome assist in learning these tasteful, sometimes challenging arrangements. 56 pages.
