Track 17. Blow the Candle Out. This is from the first CD I ever did. The album was called The Owner's Daughter, and I recorded in the early 1990's with a wonderful singer, composer and arranger named Valerie Rose. Valerie has a new album out now called Petals of Stone and it is available at CDBaby.com.

Track 18. The Burning of Auchindoon. This is the opening track on the Logan's Well album, Thunder Perfect Mind, which I recorded with my good friends, Dylan Schorer, Carlene Duncan and Peter Van Gorder in the late 1990's. Carlene does the lead here, proving that she deserves to be a world famous singer.

Track 19. Leather Winged Bat. In the mid-1980's my sister, Leslie, and I purchased a second hand four-track Portastudio. We then spent countless hours on the living room floor making a cassette of traditional and original songs. We printed 50 copies of the CD and gave them to friends. We may have sold a handful also. The cassette is called October Winds.

Track 20. Castle of Dramour. Another song sung by Leslie from the October Winds tape.

Track 21. Watching Julie Bake a Cake. This is another piece from October Winds. I wrote this piece in college while watching my then girlfriend, Julie, bake a cake. I was still playing in standard tuning back then, and using plastic strings.
